Boyband One Direction Named Richest British
London - British boy band, One Direction, has just been named as the richest boy band version of The Sunday Times with an estimated fortune of 25 million pounds.
According to the NME, they beat The X Factor boyband other dropout, JLS, which is where the wealth is at number two with a total of 24 million pounds. Previous JLS were in the first rank before One Direction to shift their position.
In the same list, Paul McCartney was also crowned as the richest musician in Britain with an estimated fortune of 680 million pounds. McCartney himself had occupied the position of richest musician since 1989, with a fortune of 80 million pounds at that time.
